Welcome to my today’s post of Thankful Thursday!

Life’s little trials and tribulations have presented themselves in my path..hmmmm…once again. That is correct, a wrench has been thrown into my wheels. It is testing my self esteem, but I know this has been thrown into my path for a reason. As difficult as it may seem for the moment, I know that I need to embrace it, pray for it, and be thankful for it.  Change will come out of this situation, I am sure. Just for the moment though, it seems like I am struggling to keep my head above water.

Sadly enough, I am sure all of us, at one time or another, has fallen victim to an unfortunate circumstance. It could be a job loss, a health scare, or just simply being unsure as to what the future holds. We have all been there, and it totally sucks while being there.

I found a great quote today. It is soul food, and words of encouragement that I need to hang on today.

“Life is Difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths. It is a great truth because once we truly see this truth, we transcend it. Once we truly know that life is difficult-once we truly understand and accept it- then life is no longer difficult. Because once it is accepted, the fact that life is difficult no longer matters”.
~M. Scott Peck, MD

Today, I am going to embrace this quote. I am also going to be thankful for the challenge I am facing. I am going to have faith, that yes, it will all work out for the best.

As I was driving my boys in to day camp this morning, my eldest son turned around and asked me, out of the blue, “Mommy, I want to live with you forever. Is that OK”? “Of course it is OK”. I answered back. Despite the trials and tribulations that life has brought me lately, I am thankful to be surrounded by so much such love.

Today, I am thankful for all the people in my life that love and support me.
